Hey Champ melds a beautiful melodic indie-rock aesthetic with nerdy-queer Moog synths. I enjoy them immensely, and I hope you do too. Their album is available on iTunes for a very reasonable $5.99, or you can check out their website to see what other download options are available.

Hey Champ Releases Debut Album "Star"
I first discovered Hey Champ via their stunning slow-mo music video for their breakout single "Cold Dust Girl". The homophone appeal for me was obvious: a hot slow-motion girl kiss pretty much trumps the surrounding straightness involved.
This Week's Gayest Track: Scissor Sisters feat Kylie Minogue - Any Which Way (Glastonbury 2010)
Okay, do I really even need to explain how gay this is? I didn't think so. Enjoy.
"Any Which Way" is available from the Scissor Sisters' newest release, "Night Work", which is available on iTunes and pretty much everywhere.
Hey, We're New!
Greetings and salutations, queer audiophiles! Welcome to the inaugural post of Homophone. This blog will be updated daily, and will include the following features for your aural delight:
We will tell you about upcoming and new releases from artists we know and love, and a few you haven't met yet.
We'll review albums and tracks as they come available, so you can decide who to train your lovely queer ears to.
On Wednesdays, we'll do an artist focus feature, where we'll clue you in on independent and up-and-coming artists who rock our socks off.
On Thursdays, we'll post the week's gayest track, which will be handpicked from a smorgasbord of luscious songs and singled out for its unparalleled auditory representation of homo.
On Sundays, we'll do a genre explosion feature, where we will dive into different music genres and splash around in the depths of it to unearth the choicest treasures and deliver them to you.
Sound good? Good. Now sit back, relax, snuggle on those homophones, and prepare yourself. You'll like it. We promise.
